A Castle falling to the onslaught of Antheras' war.

Humans have made their home on the granary plains, the Elves in the dense forest with the World Tree, and the Undead rule over the cold barren lands. Each race has developed their own unique culture. Antheras, the 72nd Duke of the Underworld, was a master of magic who researched dimensional travel. After years of research, he succeeded in traveling to the land of Pangaea. However, traveling to Pangaea was costly, as it sapped most of his magical power. Antheras planned on transforming Pangaea into the Underworld by creating a dimensional portal connected to the Underworld. Creating a dimensional portal required an immense amount of death energy. He used doppelgangers and magic to divide and provoke the three empires. The situation deteriorated and the empires fought a massive war against each other for 30 years.

The Heroes who defeated Antheras once and for all.

Throughout the countless battles, heroes were born, and these heroes eventually unveiled Antheras's scheme. They were able to put an end to Antheras, and once the cause behind the war had been uncovered, the empires reached an agreement to officially put an end to the war that had lasted for so long. Although the war had ended, the seed of vengeance still lingered amongst the territories and local skirmishes continued. The emperors of each empire tolerated these local wars in order to restore power to their weakened thrones and to replace their vassals. Seizing this opportunity, new and old commanders alike continued to wage war against each other. They also formed guilds with commanders of other races they had befriended throughout the wars. Thus, the land of Pangaea fell into chaos once again, creating opportunity for new heroes to be born.
